As a terminal device at the edge access layer of HUAWEI unified communications, the IAD132E(T) is widely used on the unified communications network. By adopting the standard voice codec and compression techniques, the IAD132E(T) encodes voice signals, encapsulates them into IP packets, and then sends the IP packets to a specified media gateway through the IP network. After the IP packets reach the destination, the destination IAD performs the reverse processing to restore the packets into voice signals. In this way, the VoIP and FoIP functions are achieved.
The IAD132E(T) can provide 16FXS, 32FXS, 8FXO+8FXS, 8FXO+24FXS or 16FXO+16FXS interfaces according to the actual hardware configuration, and provide three 10Base-TX or 100Base-TX interfaces for cascade connection. The IAD132E(T) is applicable to low-density areas such as small enterprises and residential communities.
